„Orpheus Male Chorus of Phoenix“ – seniausias iki šiol aktyviai koncertuojantis choras Arizonos valstijoje, skaičiuojantis net 97-ąjį kūrybinį sezoną. Nuo pat įkūrimo 1929 metais kolektyvas vienija skirtingų profesijų ir gyvenimo patirčių vyrus, kuriuos jungia meilė chorinei muzikai ir bendruomeniškumo dvasia.


PROGRAMA

Koncerto programoje susitiks amerikietiškos muzikinės tradicijos ir chorinės klasikos perlai – nuo sakralinės muzikos bei afroamerikiečių spirituelių iki šiuolaikinių kūrinių, Brodvėjaus melodijų ir legendinių amerikietiškų dainų.

Klausytojai išgirs kūrinius pagal Bobo Dylano muziką, amerikietiško folkloro interpretacijas, dainas apie legendinį „Route 66“ kelią bei kompozicijas, atskleidžiančias turtingą ir įvairialypę JAV muzikinę kultūrą.
